Package: python3-celery
Version: 3.1.13-3
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
python3-celery build-depends on python3-memcache, which will be
soon removed from the stable distribution[0][1] due to an incomplete
Python3 compatibility.
Therefore, python3-celery's build-dependency against python3-memcache
will soon get unsatisfied and python3-celery won't be installable
anymore.
A solution would be to remove python3-celery from the stable distribution
(python3-celery has a very low popcon, so it doesn't seems to be a
big problem).
python3-memcache is still available (and fully working) in Sid, so this
problem is just concerning stable.
I can purpose an NMU if needed.
Regards,
Hugo
