When starting jupyter-notebook this warning is shown:

use the widgets with your installed Jupyter Notebook version, please install
ipywidgets 4.x or earlier.
This seems to be just a cosmetic issue, as the widgets work.
Installing python3-widgetsnbextension "solves" the issuem, but this package
should not be necessary, as its description says.
