Hey! Just a follow-up: I have forwarded the fix upstream and the Barry Scott included it in the new 7.0.2 pycxx release. That being said, even if the package is to be updated to 7.0.2 then we still need the relevant debian/tests/buildtest changes from the debdiff above.
