anonscm.debian.org URLs are not service-independent, as anonscm is the same machine as Alioth, and it may be shut down in the future. Also for new packages there will be no repositories on Alioth, and it is better to have consistent Vcs URLs for all team packages. So I think the mass-commit is needed.
