For our client based in Brussels,we are currently looking for a hands-on
programmer (python/java/other oo language) with testing experience and some
unix skills.
He/she will write JPython test scripts using a home-grown API to develop
system-level tests for our product.
He/she needs to be able to learn quickly because of the complexity of the
product and the need to have some insight in its functioning to be able to
script
these (already documented) tests.
Skills in order of descending importance, first three are mandatory:
Personal skills
Result-oriented
Problem solver
Strong analytical mind, quick learner from unstructured information
OO knowledge
ideally in python/jython
preferably in Java
Linux/Un*x experience
Shell operation, standard utilities
Shell scripting
Experience in automated testing
preferably on non-trivial products/projects (backoffice, non-GUI)
data-driven automated testing
script-driven automated testing
Knowledgeable about unit testing with xUnit frameworks
start date : asap
duration : 3 months +
