Nu weet ik niet of er veel gedaan wordt met Python en mobility, maar ik zou graag verrast willen worden :-) armijn --------------------------------------------------------------------- NLUUG Fall Conference 2008 Thursday November 6, 2008 De Reehorst Ede (Gelderland, The Netherlands) CALL FOR PAPERS Mobility The market for mobile applications is predicted to be several times as large as the market for traditional computer (desktop) applications within a few years. Possible topics are: * Mobile UNIX hardware - the iPhone, Nokia tablets, Android and OpenMoko * Using mobile networks (EDGE/UMTS/HSPA) and roaming * Mobile applications - GPS and maps, bluetooth advertising, multi-player games, mobile payments, NFC and RFID * Frameworks for mobile applications, both native and Java * Issues in high-latency and low bandwidth applications * Programming for efficiency and battery life * GUI design for low performance systems and small form factors * Wireless mesh * Safe and secure mobile access to corporate networks and applications * Security breaches in mobile applications * Management of mobile applications The NLUUG Autumn Conference will be held November 6th 2008 in De Reehorst in Ede, the Netherlands. Concurrently on the 6th and 7th the ELC-E 2008 conference will be held in the same location, organized by the CE Linux Forum.
