I was only half-jokingingly replying, to increase the jobs per canal ratio, with no details about the job whatsoever. Yet I still got some private replies with CV's and interest in the job, this surprised me :) The job is not a joke though, and these replies show me that there are some people on this list actively looking for a job. So here are the full details: HR describes the position as follows: > We are looking ASAP for a Python/Django Contractor, who will be > responsible for implementing user stories for our ServerDB backlog. > > We are looking for someone who is fulltime available (40 hours per > week) for at least 2 months for our office in Amsterdam. > > Requirements > - - Extensive experience with Python/ Django > - - Experience with Databases > - - Familiar with Agile Development > - - Experience with System Administration > - - Excellent (English) communication skills > - - Preferable living in The Netherlands As original author of the software, I can tell you that it's not a particularly exciting/special django app, but it is a critical internal app that's integrated with all our processes to automate server managementand more. It is responsible for saving us a lot of time and work on a day-to-day basis, so the work done on it has a direct result in our efficiency. I thoroughly enjoyed working on it, but have moved on to another role and cannot give it as much attention as it deserves. -- Dennis Kaarsemaker, Systems Architect Booking.com Herengracht 597, 1017 CE Amsterdam Tel external +31 (0) 20 715 3409 Tel internal (7207) 3409 _______________________________________________ Python-nl mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-nl
