Hi all, Katie, in CC, is a teacher and is looking for someone that is interested in mentoring young people in Python. She asked me to forward her request to this list.
Katie teaches the Digital Design class at the Amsterdam International School. Her class has a 12 year old boy who is already writing Python code while his peers are still busy with Scratch (a visual programming tool for education purpose). He's just learning this by reading a book he got as a gift. Katie said that he's looking for a mentor who could help him out learning Python. It could be a little help in a distance. As you can imagine those kids love to talk to people who are working in the field which they're interested in.
