Hi,
I've needed to design, model & critique a relatively large database system at work, so I've reverted to basics and wanted to model it using an EER diagram, but I hate doing layout, so I did the obvious, I used Kamaelia to do the layout for me :-) I've blogged about the result here: (about 1/2 day - days work) http://yeoldeclue.com/cgi-bin/blog/blog.cgi?rm=viewpost&nodeid=1195955570 Which has possibly the prettiest database schemas I've seen in a while. (That page doesn't actually include the full schema I'm working on :-) The code is linked to from that page, but I'll probably be packaging it up separately ala the greylisting package (since that seems to be a nice packaging approach). As a question though, does anyone have an idea of how awkward it would be to generate this as an SVG file ? (I've got all the points as world co-ordinates already, so mapping from one pointspace to another would be OK, I've just never generated SVG and have no idea how well it handles fonts etc :-) Michael. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post: [email protected] To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Feeds available at http://groups.google.com/group/python-north-west/feeds For more options: http://groups.google.com/group/python-north-west -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
