I could make it there for 7:30 ( I'm coming from Chester and might well have a bike!) if that's not to much of a problem or imposition. I'd prefer to do a longer talk as there is a fair bit of context. I'll aim for half an hour, such that if people are interested we get 15 mins of discussion and if it's boring they don't have to put up with too much of it.

Well I'll see what I can put together. How long do you like things
    to be?

There's no hard and fast rule but in keeping with other groups /
conferences, talks often fall into one of two groups:

- Lightning talk: hard limited to 5 minutes each, the idea being that we
get through many talks at a shallow level to give people the flavour of
a topic, but generally not enough time to get into the nitty gritty or
to open up for discussion / questions.

- Full talk: depends on the talk itself, the number of talks and time
available, but 45 mins might be a sensible average plus time for
discussion / questions.

So far we have 2 lightning talks and 0 full talks signed up. The choice
is yours!

p.s. What time do your meetings start? I'm abit like the Boomtown
rats and don't like Mondays but other than that most days are ok
    with a bit of notice.

Meetings so far have in theory started at 6pm though people will roll in
later than that, particularly those coming from further afield. Unless
there are any further advances, the talks themselves could start at
7pm. Looks like we won't be meeting on Mondays but will send a separate
mail once confirmed with the venue.

Cheers,

Safe
