No, not yet. This was presented at the exeter workshop in an impromptu session (see our notes here: http://clearclimatecode.org/surface-temperatures-workshop/ ). The workshop was before the public announcement of oldweather.org, but it was looking awesome, and fun too! I was struck by Philip Brohan explaining how sea air and surface measurements generally go back further than land records, and the British Royal Navy being what it is, they went everywhere and took careful measurements.
