Ladies & Gents,
Tonight we're getting together for a coding meetup! At PyCon UK in
September, I and some others from Python Northwest attended the very
enjoyable and educational Coding Dojo organised by Nicholas Tollervey
(@ntoll). The format was based on a session held in London on a regular
basis and it would be great if we could give it a go here.
The "rules" are very simple:
1. At the start of the session, as many suggestions as possible for a
coding challenge are written on a whiteboard. At PyCon UK, suggestions
included "Maze Generator" and the perennial "Roman Numeral Calculator".
2. A vote is taken for the most popular challenge.
3. We split up randomly into groups and code furiously for an hour.
4. In the last 30 minutes, each group presents what they've done (and what
they meant to do) to the other groups!
