We recently discussed the idea of getting together twice a month, with the additional meet just being in a pub.
To evenly distribute the two meets, having one two weeks before the other makes sense. Not on a Thursday as this excludes people who generally can't do Thursdays from both meets. The Tuesday of the week two weeks before the third Thursday of the month usually clashes with PHPNW, so I suggested the Wednesday. If this doesn't suit people we can always change it.
