Hi Everyone

First of all, a spot of admin, I've created a Meetup group for Python North
West, so if you use Meetup you can find us here:

Python-North-West-Meetup <https://www.meetup.com/Python-North-West-Meetup/>

If you're more of a twitter fan, you can follow us here:

*This month's meeting - 19th October @ 7pm*
We welcome guest speaker Dave Ames who will be talking about how Python is
used to teach programming in schools. Dave predominantly works with
teachers, helping them understand the material they need to teach their
students. As well as a talk, Dave will also show us some of the coursework
(from previous years!) that students have been asked to complete, so bring
a computer and see if you're smarter than a 15 year old!

*Upcoming future meetings*
Next month we are having another guest speaker called Dave giving a talk,
this time the speaker will be Dave Jones who be talking about 0MQ (zeroMQ)
the asynchronous messaging library and how he's used it in some of his
RaspberryPi projects.

At this stage it is highly likely we will cancel the December meeting due
to the proximity to Christmas.

*Question*
One of the suggestions made at our September meeting was that we should
have a session of lightning talks. This would be a great opportunity for
anyhow who would like to contribute, but doesn't have the time or the
confidence to deliver a full length session. If you could commit, with
absolutely zero obligation to follow through, to a 5 minute talk at a
session in the future, please tweet @pythonnw or email me.

Thanks
Adam
