Friends, It has been a pleasure to meet you all in the last few days. I do feel that we are becoming true friends, united in our interest in programming tools, and especially the supremely important tool named pylint :-)
Yesterday and early this morning I have been wondering why my energy level concerning a new pylint suddenly dropped. It could not have been because of the content of our recent conversations. They have been most helpful, courteous and encouraging. After speaking with Rebecca about it, and doing some daydreaming, I realized that I felt uncomfortable imposing on pylint's hospitality. As the leo-editor group (http://groups.google.com/group/leo-editor) shows, I love to write about programming. A separate forum seems essential for maintaining my energy. I need the freedom that a more private forum allows. For these reasons, and others, I have chosen to create a new Google Group called Leo and Pylint: http://groups.google.com/group/leo-and-pylint The first post of this group discusses my goals for the group, and expands on the reasons for creating a new Google Group. I invite all who are interested in pylint to join this group and to contribute as you like. Because of spam, new members are moderated. I typically respond to membership requests within a few hours. Let me close this invitation by repeating the last words of my first post on leo-and-pylint: "Let me be clear. This group is essential so that I can work at the highest level of energy and effectiveness. This group marks a new phase in my life's work."
