for sure logilab-common 0.48.0 took some days before appearing on ftp.l.o while on PyPI it was available. Now I just check 0.48.1 and it's on both, but I didn't see it on ftp.l.o when I prepared 0.48.0 for Debian, else I would have packaged .1 directly. >>So I'd like to ask: what's the >> best place to check for new upstream releases so that I can keep >> Debian packages updated? > > the easiest way is probably to follow the logilab.org published versions > rss feed: > http://www.logilab.org/view?rql=Any%20X%2CD%20ORDERBY%20D%20DESC%20LIMIT%2040%20WHERE%20X%20is%20Version%2C%20X%20publication_date%20D%2C%20NOT%20X%20publication_date%20NULL%2C%20X%20in_state%20S%2C%20S%20name%20%22published%22&vid=rss yep, easier for human/RSS feed aggregator, not so much for the method Debian uses to track new upstream releases :) > all that releases should be available on our ftp site.
