I don't want to sound impatient, but please let me know if this has
any chance of getting reviewed in the near future.

My ultimate goal here is to just get this version of pylint.el into
melpa (http://melpa.milkbox.net/), which is a collection of elisp
packages that get pulled directly from upstream repositories.  One of
the melpa maintainers suggested that I try to get it to be the
"official" pylint.el, which I agree with.  If this will take a long
time, I'd like to know so I can get it into melpa through some other
means.  I'll still try to get it in to the pylint project regardless.
