Hi all, TortoiseHg and HgView has a common history as TortoiseHg qt interface started with the HgView code base.
We've just have a meeting with TortoiseHg crew at the Mercurial3.2 Sprint to discuss about how to merge the two projects. We came to the conclusion that HgView may drop down in favor of a "light" version of TortoiseHg that will bring up a read-only view with a clean and simple GUI. The development plan could be: 1. provide a read-only interface with actual tortoiseHg features 2. transpose HgView specific features to TortoiseHg that will be available in the light and full modes of TortoiseHg 3. implement the text base interface of HgView in read-only mode I've started a new topic on the TortoiseHg developers group.
