Thanks for the clarification. I think it would make sense to write a few sentences about this both, on the old *and* new issue tracker/website. You might get some helpers for free that link between new and old tickets that are still not outdated. Also, this might prevent another person like me asking on this list about such a topic or at least you can point to the issues trackers as an answer.
