Hi! Yes! I'd be very happy to do that. In theory we should get permission from all/most of the copyright holders, but anyway Sylvain I'll trust you to do that.
I'll prepare a patch in the next few days, and you can merge when you're satisfied with the copyright holders' assent. For what it's worth, if people on this list are interested in actively participating with the pip team, to find out specifically what constraint solving integration they need, I am *sure* that they would love the help. I see my role here as more about connecting people; my personal constraint solving experience is somewhat rusty.
