Prytania Services LLP is currently looking for a number of python developers to further develop and enhance our leading-edge structured finance portfolio analysis system. As a developer, your primary responsibility will be to help create, maintain, and test new and existing software components. An ideal candidate will have a computer science or mathematics background, experience in object-oriented programming, and an interest in finance. No prior experience in finance is required, but you should be prepared to learn. Requirements: Strong skills in Python and one of the following C#, Java, C++ Excellent knowledge of databases and SQL. We use PostgreSQL and SQLite. Good knowledge of Linux Environments. Good knowledge of GUI Development. Additional Skills Desired: Experience in Adobe Flex. Experience with Mercurial, SVN, CVS or other version control system. Extensive knowledge and overview of open source software.
