hi phuong, right now i am rigging some characters for a shortfilm ... i script mostly in MEL , and found PYTHON to be great , for prototyping certain maya_plugins / nodes . i am looking forward to working in an animation studio as a character-TD , but it seems ( right now ) , that i still need some more practise - so the short-movie is great to learn
i usually use jEdit for text-editing , but put everything together in maya-script-editor ... and never source my scripts from jEdit - maybe i shold install the jEdit-maya-plugin , so this wont happen in the future - but it is not really worth to mention ... it is just 2 hours of work ( or maybe three ) havea nice day , ngohoai :) ngohoai.phuong schrieb: > Hi Simon, > I'm hope with command scriptEditorInfo, it will helpful for your you. > I think, in future, Autodesk will adding function auto save script, > it same in Microsoft Word(secction auto backup). At time, it really > great. > Current, i'm often use software Komodo Edit 4.2 for writte script MEL > or PYTHON, after i only source script, or click marco button(shelf) to > active this script. > With this method, i'm will not lose my script when maya-crash. > I have a question for you if you don't mind. > What are your job?
