In the maya documentation for installing PyQt ( Windows Open Source QT & PyQt Installation.pdf found in ....\Maya2009\devkit\other \PyQtScripts ) the directions say to download the executable PyQt- gpl-4.2-Py2.5-Qt4.2.3.exe, but provides a bad link......I'm not sure what comparable executable I can use to finish the installation procedure they document...I have only found the newer un-compiled versions.
from the documentation.....I get stuck at step 4...That executable just doesn't seem available any longer. 4. Install PyQt. PyQt is a set of Python bindings for Qt. Download PyQt-gpl-4.2-Py2.5-Qt4.2.3.exe windows binary from here http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/pyqt/download.php Install by double clicking on the executable windows installer. Install in the default directory, it should find C:/Python25/ by itself.
