[Maya-Python] Array of Array attribute

Hey guys,
I want to create an array of array attribute (one example is the skin
weight attribute of the skin clusters). I know how to create an array
attribute by using the setArray function but does not know how to
proceed with making an array of array attribute. I am quite new to the
API so I hope some one can help me with this.
