Building my first proper python script for maya (not pymel unfortunately), and its as fiddly as I expected. The bulk of the script is UI stuff, so its double the fun.
Its an outliner with extra bling for sorting/filtering/set mainipulation, so its all using standard maya UI components. Was wondering though, would it be possible to build the bulk of the tool in say QT, and embed (and control!) an outliner within it?
