In regards to this, it would be cleaner to just use the lowest vertex of the sphere as your measuring point. i.e pSphere1.vtx[380]. saves the use of the extra nodes. So are you basically just trying to measure the displacement of the plane, that the sphere produces ?.... so in the case of the foot print example, it would be the depth of the print ? Beau
