Hi everybody, I've upgraded to Kubuntu 10.04 LTS two days ago and after the upgrade I realized that they've removed python 2.5 from the system. I was using PyQt4 with Maya 2009 and Houdini by creating symbolic links from the /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/ . Because they've removed python2.5 I don't have PyQt4 any more, and I've tried to install python 2.5 using aptitude but it is also removed from there. So, I don't want to install python 2.5 again but I need to have PyQt4 and SIP which are compiled against python2.5 64-bit. Do anyone have them ?
I've once struggled compiling PyQt4 and SIP for windows xp x64, and I don't want to do that again for linux. So if anybody has it please let me know? Cheers, E.Ozgur Yilmaz Lead Technical Director www.ozgurfx.com -- http://groups.google.com/group/python_inside_maya
