I'm trying to wrap my head around this OpenAssembler thing. Its a GUI that helps you generate application code by wiring together "code objects" and "ui object"? Thats what I gather from the blog. Though the source code doesn't seem to have been updated since July 2010. Wonder what kind of stuff it can do still. Would be cool if there were some Nuke/Maya/Houdini specific examples on that blog about what it produces.
Tim's app its pretty goal specific, in that it gives you a nodal approach to building a particle system in maya, where the actions directly map to maya operations.
