Hi all, I'm making an kObjectSet node (think along the lines of an instancer), everything works almost perfectly...
The problem: My node has NO outputs, because the objects to be effected are all members of its set, so how do I trigger a node calculation to make my node do, well, anything? I really don't want to have to hook up all the rot/trans/scale plugs in an output array because that negates the whole point of doing this as a set node... There must be a way! :) Currently I have a dummy output attribute that fools the node into calculating but this is a ridiculous solution. Any advice would be very welcome :) Thanks, Ian -- view archives: http://groups.google.com/group/python_inside_maya change your subscription settings: http://groups.google.com/group/python_inside_maya/subscribe
