Are you using Quicktime Player to play the .mov file on Windows? In the 
past that's the only time I've experienced 'messy green' when viewing back 
playblasts. Solved by doing the following in Quicktime Player:

Edit > Preferences > Quicktime Preferences > Advanced > Video > click 'Safe 
Mode (GDI only)'

Try that, or try another player (like RV, or VLC, etc.)

If that doesn't work the it's back to the drawing board.
