Hey guys, help please,
The other day one of my QA colleagues asked me if I could write a script to
check flipped faces(uv), which are painted red in the UV editor.
Firstly, I thought it would be very easy, cause I thought certain info on
faces should be stored somewhere inside Maya. I searched and searched and
got nothing.
Later I decide maybe it is the UV point order that determines if the face
normal(let's call it normal) is right side facing out. But as attached in
the picture, it is not.
So I decide to ask gurus, maybe this is a already solved question, so do me
a favor and drop me a tip on this please, I appreciate it!
ps. I also wondered if there is any easy way to check overlapping UV
points other than hard computing.//I CAN'T UPLOAD PICTUREs! forgive me for
that...
Thanks!
Jerry
