As I suspected, I was completely wrong since the beginning !
It seems that the right way to go is the following:

MyNode.inputGizmo = numAttr.create( "inputGizmo", "inGizmo", 
OpenMaya.MFnNumericData.k3Double )
numAttr.setArray(1)


pretty simple in fact :)
