so I finally started playing with some openMaya api open gl draws and found
if you have your display set to viewport 2.0 that it doesn't draw the shape
you defined in the plugin.  Is this a known issue with viewport 2.0 and if
so, what is the work around.

Right now, I am just playing with the footPrintNode that is included in the
dev kit.
