Just as a follow up, how does one suppress the warning messages thatmay appear? I'm trying to run a script that batch converts a list ofMaya files to fbx and any time a warning pops up it freezes theprocess. Most warnings I don't care about...

behind the scenes pm.mel is doing mel.eval so there shouldn't any
