Well, it's a little bit funny that I just typed in "maya python bifrost" in Google just now and this thread is the second result. Leaving this open here until more information is out there. To start with, there are a bunch of Bifrost MEL scripts in the installation for Maya 2015, most contain rudimentary access to farm this. Something more official to follow soon hopefully.
