Hi, I just recently updated pyvfx-boilerplate <https://github.com/fredrikaverpil/pyvfx-boilerplate>, which is a template script for creating custom UIs that works in pretty much all flavours of Nuke and Maya. And it runs as a standalone app too. The boilerplate shows how to load external .ui files, but you could considerably shorten the code if you don’t need to load .ui files.
The major change here is that it relies on Qt.py <https://github.com/mottosso/Qt.py> to help load the appropriate bindings to Qt. Let me know what you think. Submit an issue if you have questions or experience problems. Pull requests are very welcome!
