Hi. If we are going to use a derived version of the python logo, we should ask for permission to the Python Software Foundation.
>From the python website (http://www.python.org/community/logos/): "In general, we want the logo to be used as widely as possible to indicate use of Python or suitability for Python. However, please ask first when using a derived version of the logo or when in doubt." 2009/6/30 José Antonio Martín Prieto <[email protected]>: > Hola Miguel, > I like this icon and I think it would be nice to combine it with the > "Pythoncad" word in order to get a logo. > Using the python logo is a good idea, and this icon seems to me > cleaner than the current logo. > > Regards, > José Antonio > > 2009/6/30 Miguel Verdú <[email protected]>: >> Here I let you one logo I´ve made about one year ago when I was working on >> the icons for a new interface I proposed to make with glade and make the >> PythonCAD more similar to the AutoCAD interface.
