Ivan Cronyn, London, working for Man Group. Priority is higher for our group, maybe a 7, but lower for the company as a whole, maybe a 2? (Just because of our size and diversity)
As a company we do contribute money and staff to a number of open-source projects, I would be able to spend about 10-20% of my time on Pythonnet moving forward, but our likelihood to contribute directly to the project would depend mostly on what the structure of that project would be. My priority is running .NET code in Python on CentOS Linux, using .NET Core. We have a large library written in C# that is also used by our (Linux-only) Python developers. Other than the above, my priorities would be: Full .NET Core Support in master -> Stability -> Version Support -> Speed -> New Features -> Documentation -> Community Support > On 11 Jun 2019, at 20:13, Victor “LOST” Milovanov <lostfree...@gmail.com> > wrote: > > Victor, Greater Seattle Area, single-person company (see website). > > Priority is about 7 (I estimate several months of work could bring IronPython > up to fulfill the needs). > > I’d rather just contribute and fix affecting bugs myself. > > Stability -> Supported Features -> Documentation -> Version Support -> Speed. > > // Victor > > From: Jared Broad via PythonDotNet > Sent: Tuesday, June 11, 2019 8:51 AM > To: pythondotnet@python.org > Cc: Jared Broad > Subject: Re: [Python.NET] PythonDotNet Digest, Vol 175, Issue 3 > > QuantConnect's questions for the community: > > - Who are you?
