Hey, It works in my head; partially because a whole load of packaging tools for Opensolaris are written in python (http://opensolaris.org/os/project/pkg/) so that, at least, provides another (tenuous?) link between the two. :) If nothing else, I could see that as a topic that might be of reasonable interest to both parties.
