Nah. I figure it dates them somewhat - it'll give them a vintage "old-school" feel. *lights up a pipe and holds it and goes into a salty mariners accent* In years to come young pythonistas will see the t-shirt and ask "What is the Global Interetter and why do we want it locked?" and we can tell them the epic tales of GIL and how the stackless tried to defeat it, and succeeded. But they weren't that popular, possibly because they were stack-ist. So everyone stuck with old GIL until the swallows came. They will look on, slack-jawed in wonder, and we can look to them, with a serious look and say with a faraway voice, and maybe a nervous twitch, "I remember those times".
