Looks like Google has added support for Mercurial as the next source
control system for Google Code:
http://google-code-updates.blogspot.com/2009/04/mercurial-support-for-project-hosting.html

Opens up more options for hosting code for open source projects (along
with the very good http://bitbucket.org/ and http://github.com/
hosts).

One thing which may be of interest in the Emacs vs Vim, sorry,
Mercurial vs Git vs Bazaar debate is their analysis of Git vs
