Hi, I just wanted to suggest something to the group. I have of late being reading the blog www.irisheconomy.ie. One of the ideas that appears to be emerging from it is that there should be some means for the public to express their views about various economic topics(see prediction market topic). So you have a website where members of the public can go in and vote on various topics with experts making arguments for and against. Now you would immediately think Appengine (well i would anyway!) and i know that a while back there was talk of the group following the Ruby Ireland lead and creating some group project. Personally i think this would be a great idea. I would also add that it be great publicity for Python Ireland and would be worth discussing at the June meeting (which i will not be attending) tks, PJ
