Hi Frank, If you can afford it, WingIDE Pro is wonderful. By python developers, for python developers. It's very much a python only IDE. If you're using it for working on public open-source only projects, Wingware may be kind enough to offer you the Pro version for free. It has excellent debugging capabilities and code-completion. You can get a 30 day trial here:
Note, I don't work for Wingware or get paid by them. I simply think they did a brilliant job. If you're trying it, try the latest beta. It's pretty sweet :-) Tim ^,^ On Sun, Jul 12, 2009 at 9:47 AM, Frank Murphy<[email protected]> wrote: > > Looking for what is thought of as a good python IDE\Framework. > Hope to use it to create Desktop Environment agnostic GUI(s) > > Not for web development. > > Have done some googling: > http://tinyurl.com/lzl7yd > http://tinyurl.com/kjvqsl > > But looking for some feedback\experiences. > > Regards, > > Frank > > > -- > jabber | msn | skype: frankly3d > http://www.frankly3d.com > Away at Springsteen Weekend 12th July > > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Python Ireland" group.
