Hi all, Ruby Ireland will have a visiting speaker next week, Morten Bagai from Heroku.
Heroku is a Cloud-platform for Ruby (http://heroku.com/). The event will be held in the function-room in Seagrass restaurant, South Richmond Street--a short walk from Charlemont Luas stop. Morten Bagai will speak at 7pm on Tuesday, August 4th. I'd like to invite anyone who's interested from Python Ireland to attend. Seagrass may be used for future Python events too, since the event-manager in /The Vaults/ plans to introduce a charge for the use of the room there. The new function-room is smaller than the one we're used to, but it does have wireless and its own bar. And Seagrass will serve reasonably priced plates of tapas.
