Hey all,

Quick question: Is there an easy way to compile python's readline
module without completely rebuilding python?

Background: Solaris doesn't package readline by default. Well, it does
now (at least in the dev repositories), but their distribution of
python isn't built to include the readline module. So, is there any
way to build that module in order to drop it into python without
replacing the entirety of python?

Thanks for any help ye can offer,
Aoife
