Hey all, The Galway meetup was a great success. We had 7 people attending, most from Deri, a mathematician from NUIG and me.
We are planning on holding our first talks next month, hopefully in one of the rooms belonging to Deri. I will be presenting an introduction to Python via Jython. Most programmers in Galway program in Java so we hope to get some of them interested via the Jython route.
