My problem is not to avoid intercepts, but to avoid a record. I was kind of looking for some sort of web-based product where we could delete the transcript after. I simply want to avoid comments ending up on a public record at some point in the future. I don't know anything about IRC. I just worry that when I visit #zope or similar it all ends up on google.
