Andrea, yes, agree with you. I've heard of individuals organising events (like those crazy guys doing hacking days and code retreats :P ), and I've read about Google's and IBM's on-boarding programmes, but would be interesting to have a broader view about how companies (from start-ups to multinationals deal with the situation).
If there is interest from the communities we could organise a Software Craftsmanship unconference or something similar before the whole concept goes too out of hand and loses its own meaning (thinking about Agile here)... I was at SC-UK last year and it was tons of fun. Anyone interested? cheers, José On 26 March 2012 09:58, Roundcrisis <roundcri...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Jose > > I wondered this myself in the past and never really heard anything about > it, > I think we should ask around to raise awareness of the lack of these types > of programes > Cheers > > > Andrea > www.roundcrisis.com > > > > On 25 March 2012 18:01, Jos Flores <josmasflo...@gmail.com> wrote: >> >> Hi all, >> >> just wondering if you know of any software companies in Ireland >> providing apprenticeship programmes (within the software craftsmanship >> movement view or outside of it) or anything similar? >> Any info much appreciated. >> >> cheers, >> José > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Python Ireland" group.
