Andrea, yes, agree with you. I've heard of individuals organising
events (like those crazy guys doing hacking days and code retreats :P
), and I've read about Google's and IBM's on-boarding programmes, but
would be interesting to have a broader view about how companies (from
start-ups to multinationals deal with the situation).

If there is interest from the communities we could organise a Software
Craftsmanship unconference or something similar before the whole
concept goes too out of hand and loses its own meaning (thinking about
Agile here)... I was at SC-UK last year and it was tons of fun. Anyone
interested?
