Hi,
For any pythonistas that are in college:

The fourth Irish Collegiate Programming Competition (IrlCPC) will be held
on Saturday the 6th of April in University College Cork. We would like to
invite teams from Irish third level institutions to participate in the
competition.

The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students. They
will compete in separate categories but on the same set of problems.
Undergraduate teams consist of 3 students, all from the same third level
institute. Postgraduate teams should consist of 2 members.

The competition will test the participating teams on their combined
knowledge of algorithms, programming and problem solving abilities. Team
members will have one computer between them to solve a series of problems
within 4 hours. Difficulty of the problems varies from simple (course work
level) to challenging (ACM competition level). Last year’s problem set is
available <http://acm.ucc.ie/sites/default/files/ProblemSet2012.pdf> as a
guide. Teams may choose to use Python, C, C++, Java and C# during the
competition.

For more information or to register visit http://acm.ucc.ie/irlcpc

Thanks,
Barry
