The main topic for the evening will be Cassandra 2.1: new features and performance improvements! This will be delivered by Cassandra Evangelist Jon Haddad. He will also be doing a piece on using Cassandra with the python driver. About Jon "Jon worked at various startups in the LA area before coming to DataStax in June as a Technical Evangelist. He's a committer to cqlengine, the Python object mapper for Cassandra, as well as ipython-cql, the plugin for integration of IPython (notebook) with Cassandra."
